This past week, whenever an opening came up, even if it wasn't clear cut, it seemed like God gave me the exact words to say. I'm sure He's done that in the past, but I have usually chickened out, or been nervous to the point that my words came out sounding weak and without conviction. So I have acted on all of these impulses this week and do you know what happened??? Most of the time, it started a conversation. A few times, it didn't; there was just dead silence. But what I've built up in my mind, I guess what I've feared ... being met with anger and resentment, has not happened. I guess when we listen to God, things work out positively for His good and for His glory.
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Please join me in praying for the salvation of our children. Whether you're a mother, father, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, grandparent, neighbor, friend, chances are you know of a child (including/especially an adult child) who is lost. Let's pray fervently for them! Ask God to soften their hearts to the hearing of the Good News. Pray that He calls them to follow Him. Pray that He sends people to them that they will listen to and that they will desire to seek Him.
I'll post daily reminders on:
