Praise and worship
Another brother in Christ was released from the hospital yesterday.
There are so many more who need our continued, fervent prayers for physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Since the condition of those we love has a ripple effect on friends, family, neighbors, etc., I would also like to focus our prayers on asking for and praising God for the peace and comfort He offers all who follow Him.
Please be in prayer for the continued healing of D.A., and ask for peace, comfort, encouragement and strength for his wife, A.A.
Please pray for the physical healing of B.F., M.W., T.F., C.W.
Pray for the mental healing of D. (I don't know her last name, but she desperately needs to seek help for her condition).
Pray for the spiritual healing of all who have been bombarded lately in a battle of spiritual warfare, including L. and C.
If you would like to add anyone to the list, please send me their first initial, or both and what type of healing they need. God is good. He hears our prayers.
God uses these difficult times to bring Him glory, to bring us closer to Him. Sometimes He uses suffering to reveal something to us. Always it accomplishes His purposes. Donnie said that "God uses suffering to show us how Christ suffered for us."
We're not promised tomorrow, so fill your day doing whatever you do as if it is for Him.

Generosity
Our missionaries who have been able to stay abroad through the pandemic are especially thankful for the support they've received from the U.S. so that they can continue to share the gospel. They've come up with creative means during the past 9-10 months to keep the mission work moving forward even during times of isolation. Read their stories of thankfulness by clicking here.
ASK GOD to send more individuals and churches who will be committed to the vision of reaching all nations and all peoples with the gospel.
THANK GOD for sustaining the work of missionaries through all circumstances, including the most recent global pandemic.

Prayer requests:
PRAY local Christians would be bold in sharing the gospel with the Khaleela.
ASK for discernment for the Adairs and the Serranos as they share the gospel and train local Christians.
PRAY the Lord would send more Christian workers to partner with the Serranos and Adairs.

Pray for tribes in Peru
Join me in praying for Joe Brewster, a missionary who works with the Akawa*, an unreached tribal people group in Peru. Joe and his team work with an indigenous church planter, Edwin Blanco* and his team to spread the gospel to the Akawa. With some help from the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, Edwin and company were able to finance a plan where they could become self-sustaining, financially, assuring their ability to continue with this ministry. Pray for a radio station in Croatia
This week of prayer may look a little different than normal. I'm an IMB Prayer Champion which simply means that I've volunteered to try to inspire my church and others to pray for missionaries, the unengaged and the unreached people groups of the world. Starting yesterday, November 29th through next Sunday, December 6th, is the Week of Prayer for International Missions. IMB has put together a wonderful collection of resources for this event, including a sheet that highlights one missionary, staff, and people group each day. That sheet includes a written version of their story, photos and a video. I'll share some information each day about the missionary/people group, their prayer requests, and the video, as well as the link to the sheet so that you can dig deeper if you like.
Paul Chitwood, director of IMB wrote, "Please join me in praying that our missional reach might expand, as we await a multitude too great to number; a great multitude + you."

Holy children

I chose this photo because it reminded me of today's verse. This soldier is protecting these children. He carries a gun to keep the enemy at bay. We, as believing parents, are protecting our children. We carry a bible and pray unceasingly to keep the enemy at bay.
I'm always looking for reassurances in the Bible. Today's verse may be more for young children, those who've not yet reached the age of accountability, but it still gives me hope. I read a lot of commentaries and rather than quote everyone, I'll just provide these links:

Reassurances

Our children

We can't help but think of them, even picture them living in hell for all eternity. It keeps us up at night. We obsess about it. We've spent years praying about it to seemingly no avail.
The worse thing is, we feel helpless to do anything about it. We know that the mere mention of God or Jesus or even church can bring about an onslaught of rage and phrases like, "Quit forcing your beliefs on me!" "Accept me for who I am!" or just, "I don't want to hear it!" Sometimes they even threaten to distance themselves from us.
What are we to do?
I'm here to tell you that no matter how many years you've prayed for their salvation, don't give up. Never give up! We're told:
Additionally, I've seen this work! I pray for their hearts to be softened, for opportunities to plant seeds, for others to come into their lives whom they will listen to.
One woman at our church and her husband were actually told by their son and daughter-in-law that if they even mentioned Jesus around them then they wouldn't be able to see their grandchild. That seems like a no-win situation. They had to be true to their faith. Their son and DIL's hearts softened, but the really miraculous thing was that their DIL told this woman that a man came to her door one day and told her that she could give all her burdens up to Christ. She asked her mother-in-law if that was true and they were able to have a conversation!
My step-daughter would get angry if her father mentioned anything about religion but we kept praying for her. One day, seemingly out of the blue she asked him which bible would be best for her to get?
I have so many stories like this, so I know prayer works. Keep praying!
Please pray for the salvation of:
