For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you
not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think,
but to think with sober judgment,
each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
Romans 12:3 ESVVerse 4 and 5 go on to say...
For as in one body we have many members,
and the members do not all have the same function,
so we, though many, are one body in Christ,
and individually members one of another.
One of the great things about the church we attend is the number of people who volunteer to serve. We each use our spiritual gifts as we minister to each other, to the community, and beyond. Although we are all individuals with different backgrounds and talents, we can work together and serve Christ in larger capacities than we could each do on our own. It's okay and necessary to be part of the greater good. We can accomplish a lot more together than we can alone. The goal is to bring glory to God.

Please join me this week in praying for humility, either for yourself or someone you know. If you don't know anyone who needs a dose of humility, then I humbly ask that you pray this for me.
