Jesus shows us by example as well as instruction what our prayer life should look like. I count at least 25 different times throughout the Gospels when Jesus prays. So, Jesus, who is Himself Lord, takes time to pray. Shouldn't our take away be that it's really, really important to go to our Father about everything in prayer?
If we are deeply troubled about our unbelieving children, relatives, neighbors, friends, we need to keep them in our prayers until those prayers are answered (imo).
And he told them a parable to the effect that
they ought always to pray and not lose heart.*
Luke 18:1 ESV
*The NIV says to "...pray and not give up."

Please join me this week in praying for our loved ones who are not yet saved. We so desperately want to all be reunited in Heaven, and God does not wish that any perish, so we need to intercede for the unbelievers in our life by praying fervently for their salvation.
